Sepang - Various condolences spoken by the racers and athletes for the departure of Marco Simoncelli. The driver died from an accident at the Sepang Circuit on Sunday (23/10/2011).

As reported previously, Simoncelli has died after an accident on lap two. Simoncelli motorcycle skidded sideways when cornering center.

He then fell in the middle of the track. Impact, he was hit by Colin Edwards, who was driving behind him. Red flags were hoisted and the race was stopped.

In a statement after the accident, Simoncelli declared dead at 16:56 local time due to serious injuries in the head, neck, and chest.

"Sometimes life does not make sense .. RIP # 58, you are the star on and off the track. We will all miss you," said Ducati rider, Nicky Hayden.

"You will be missed always. Rest in peace, Marco," wrote Jorge Lorenzo in his Twitter account.

"RIP Marco. A special talent that will always be missed .. Kenang everything you hold dear, and everything in the MotoGP paddock," said the driver of the F1 team Red Bull, Mark Webber.

Parties are also not behind MotoGP expressed his condolences. "MotoGP expressed deep condolence to the family of Marco, his friends, his team and his loss is tragic," according to their brief statement.
